Richard is a vibrant member of the King Charles Spaniel breed with thick ear plumes, a soft body and a dense coat that is in need of structural professional grooming. Our groomers began with a thorough cleaning and conditioning to bring back the coat’s luster and silkiness. They then worked on the problem areas: combed out areas where the coat was bunching, cleaned up the paws and gently thinned out excess volume. The ears were shaped so that they retained their length, but looked neat and natural. The body was trimmed to make the silhouette cleaner and more harmonious, while retaining the breed’s elegance.
After cutting and grooming Richard looks shiny, neat and very expressive – like a real little royal gentleman.
