A Spitz named Richie came to the salon with the standard breed characteristics: a fluffy undercoat that sheds quickly and delicate skin that requires careful, professional grooming. The master began with a thorough combing to delicately untangle the undercoat and prepare the coat for bathing. Ritchie was given a shampoo and conditioner to restore the coat’s structure and give it volume, but without weighing it down.

After drying the master performed a filigree shaped haircut, taking into account the shape of the dog’s body, preserving the natural roundness of the silhouette, the correct balance of the muzzle and neatness of the legs. Special attention was paid to the eye area – an open, clean look is an important feature of Spitzes. The final result is a smooth, neat and very fluffy look that emphasizes all of Richie’s best features.
