On December 20, Natalka Park on Obolonska embankment turned into a real Christmas space of warmth, joy and good deeds. It was here that a charity Christmas event for children and dogs was held on the initiative of “Angels of Tails”, to which the V.O.G DOG SALON team was happy to join.
The holiday lasted from 13:00 to 17:00 and brought together families, ponytail owners, volunteers and everyone who believes that Christmas is primarily a time of good deeds.
Festive atmosphere for the whole family
A real Christmas fairy tale awaited the guests: a costumed photo zone, a win-win lottery, goodies, activities for children and adults, as well as a grooming zone where each pet could receive attention and care. The atmosphere was light, lively and very warm – exactly what a pre-holiday meeting in December should be like.
And, of course, the holiday was not without surprises – there were rumors among the guests about the visit of the real Santa from Lapland, which added even more joy to the children and smiles to the adults.
Participation of V.O.G DOG SALON & V.O.G DOG ACADEMY
Our network became a full-fledged part of the Christmas charity event – not as a formal partner, but as an active participant who worked directly with guests and their pets. Our groomers were on hand throughout the event, communicating with dog owners, answering questions, sharing professional advice on how to care for their dogs’ hair, skin, and tools, and showing how even basic grooming can affect the comfort and health of their pets.
During the event, we actively worked with the dogs: dyed them with safe dyes, made glitter tattoos, filed and cut their nails, glued rhinestones, and created a real creative image for each Tails. For many guests, it was a vivid experience and an example of how grooming can be an emotion and a celebration.
We paid special attention to the comfort of the animals – we created a calm, friendly atmosphere so that even in a noisy festive space the animals felt safe. For the owners, it was an opportunity to receive practical recommendations that can be applied even at home, in addition to the usual communication.
For us, participation in such events is a continuation of our daily work and brand philosophy. We are convinced that caring for animals is not limited to salon procedures. It is manifested in support, live contact and readiness to be there when it really matters – especially for animals from the frontline areas, who need attention and help more than others today.
Charitable purpose of the event
The main goal of the Christmas charity event was to raise funds to support pets from the frontline areas, in particular for the World of Friends NGO in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast. All donations and initiatives of the event were aimed at helping animals in difficult conditions due to the war.
The event was supported by the Obolon District State Administration and the Obolon Culture Department, which once again emphasizes the importance of bringing together business, community and volunteer initiatives.
This was just the first announcement and the first step in the holiday countdown. There are more news, surprises and even more good deeds ahead. Because Christmas is a time when goodness is doubled. We sincerely believe that such events form a community of caring people and prove that even small steps together can create a big miracle!
