It’s about teeth again. Again about you. And once again, no one can hear us.

We don’t know how to explain it any more subtly than we’ve already tried. We can joke about it, we can show you before-and-after photos, we can even sniff it out with you when you bring your Ponytail to the salon – but the fact remains that it’s not just the grooming salon that needs to brush your dog’s teeth. And we’re not saying this because we’re bored or don’t want to make more money from brushing your Pets’ teeth. It’s because every other client we see is carrying valuable food stores between their canines that can be used to make broth. And that’s not a joke at all – it’s serious.

It’s a hygiene violation

In the wild, perhaps no one walks around with a brush, but life is shorter there, and teeth are erased along with your conscience. And your doggie has a couch, a down jacket, a heating pad and daily cuddles. Why does he have something so dense stuck between his teeth that we almost call an archeologist?

“We were just here a month ago.” So? You don’t wait for a sesame baguette to sprout in your mouth before visiting the dentist, do you? Neither does the dog.

“Can’t” is not an argument, it’s an excuse.

We hear this phrase all too often: “I can’t brush my teeth.” Really? Does he trim his claws himself too? Does he wash his paws after he goes outside? Does he get his own haircut while you sleep?

A dog shouldn’t like brushing his teeth – he should be used to it. It’s as familiar as petting his ear, giving him some goodies and admiring himself in the mirror with toothpaste on his face. Start with a finger, add paste, add a brush and that’s it, the miracle has happened.

Grooming is not the “RESET” button.

We at the salon can do a lot of things. A lot of things. Brushing, bleaching, ultrasonic cleaning. But we can’t roll back time to take away that piece of chicken thigh that’s been living there for a long time and has already destroyed the teeth to the point where even a dog dentist can’t help. And we don’t want to traumatize Beloved with frequent cleanings, as we sometimes have to do when things are already serious.

We don’t work instead of you, we work with you. If there is no brush, paste, or at least special chews at home – tartar grows, breath becomes “fantastic”, and your doggie becomes a veterinarian’s client, where the odor from the mouth is treated not with a brush, but with serious instruments, which the dog will not treat more attractively than a brush.

A smile should smell of joy

It’s not the dogs’ fault. They love you, even if you don’t let them brush their teeth. But that doesn’t mean you should neglect what’s up to you. Mouth odor isn’t a character trait. It’s a symptom. Yellow teeth are not a breed. It’s neglect. And meat between the fangs is not a lifestyle. It’s just leftovers from lunch.

Your pet’s smile is what they greet you with every day. So make it healthy. And we will always help, advise and clean up if there is anything left. But please. don’t leave it to chance. We’re asking you to. And so is your dog. Just listen. 😊🐾
