When a poodle first comes out of the grooming salon, it is an aesthetic stroke to the heart. It is perfectly symmetrical, even, with clear lines of paws, perfect muzzle, voluminous tail and curls that look like they were measured with a protractor. The hair behind the ears, on the chest, in the groin and under the tail can pile up especially quickly. That’s where delicate work is needed – not clipping, but combing out, wetting, untangling, removing. And if you are thinking, “I’ll cut it myself at home” – stop…. He has a unique hair structure and requires tools, technique and knowledge of angles. Even one mistake and the muzzle will be slanted and the body as uneven as a mountain range. Moreover – the poodle does not forgive improper handling of the coat: after poor grooming, the curls grow worse, become brittle and lose their luster.
Poodle haircut
A poodle without a haircut is like a pianist without keys. Haircut for him is about comfort, neatness, thermoregulation, hygiene and…. self-esteem. Poodles are very intelligent, observant and emotionally sensitive. They see when they are praised. They remember how people react to them on the street. And when they are groomed – they feel it. They move differently. They become more graceful. More confident.
At our chain of grooming salons, the poodle’s coat is trimmed. He is bathed in special shampoos for curly hair, masks are applied for elasticity, ears, paws, tail area are treated, eyes are kept clean and excess hair between fingers is removed. This is the care to which the poodle owes its health.
