A thousand articles, each containing a piece of our soul
Here’s a special article—an anniversary edition!!! It’s the 1,000th post on the V.O.G DOG blog.
1,000 articles mean thousands of hours spent researching, verifying information, writing, editing, and preparing content. That’s a thousand important topics, thousands of helpful tips, and countless answers to questions that pet owners, groomers, and those who dream of mastering this profession ask every day.
From the very beginning, we’ve created our blog completely free of charge for our readers. We develop it on our own and at our own expense, without asking for anything in return. Simply because we sincerely believe that the right knowledge helps us better understand animals, be more attentive to their needs, and make their lives healthier, safer, and happier.
We put our heart and soul into every post. It’s important to us not just to fill the site with new posts, but to talk about what really matters: explaining complex topics in simple terms, debunking dangerous myths, helping owners avoid mistakes, and fostering a culture of responsible pet ownership.
We write for those who have just brought home a little puppy or kitten for the first time. For experienced pet owners who want to understand their pets even better. For groomers who are constantly honing their professional skills. For future professionals who are just taking their first steps toward their dream career. And for everyone who simply can’t imagine life without their furry friends.
Today, we want to celebrate the publication of our 1,000th article and thank everyone who reads V.O.G DOG JOURNAL, returns to our content, and shares it with others. It is your support that inspires us to keep going.
A thousand articles mark an important chapter in our history. But it certainly isn’t the last.
What do we write about?
Over the years, our blog has turned into a real magazine—or even a vast encyclopedia—about animals, their care, grooming, health, training, and life with our furry friends. We strive to ensure that everyone can find the answer to their question here.
Dog and Cat Breeds
One of the blog’s main focuses is content about dog and cat breeds: from small companion breeds to large working, hunting, and family breeds.
We cover Poodles and Poodle mixes, Yorkies, Spitz, Maltese, Bichons, Shih Tzus, Chihuahuas, Corgis, Retrievers, Huskies, Dobermans, Kangals, Saint Bernards, Akita Inu, Basenjis, Dachshunds, Pekingese, Spaniels, Maine Coons, Siberian cats, and many other breeds.
In our articles, we discuss the breed’s origins, appearance, temperament, activity level, trainability, and attitude toward children and other animals, as well as specific health, nutrition, and grooming needs. This helps prospective owners determine whether a particular breed is right for them.
All About Grooming
Grooming is at the heart of our professional work and one of the main topics of our blog. We explain why regular grooming is important not only for beauty but also for hygiene, comfort, and the animal’s well-being.
We cover bathing, brushing, stripping, and care for the coat, skin, nails, ears, eyes, and mouth. We review professional tools, grooming products, modern techniques, and industry trends.
We pay special attention to puppies and kittens, senior and anxious pets, large breeds, and pets with sensitive skin or unique coat textures.
Health, Hygiene, and Daily Care
We write about vaccinations, parasites, and the condition of the skin, coat, teeth, and mouth, as well as reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. We explain which changes require attention and when you should consult a veterinarian.
The blog also features articles on nutrition, house training, home hygiene, seasonal care, and choosing grooming products, clothing, accessories, and toys—all tailored to the animal’s age, breed, lifestyle, and individual needs.
Behavior, Training, and Canine Science
Loving a pet also means understanding it. That’s why we write extensively about dog and cat behavior, training, and canine science. We cover topics such as adjusting to a new home, socialization, training, positive reinforcement, fears, anxiety, aggression, excessive barking, loneliness, and interactions with other animals.
We show that a pet’s behavior always has a reason, and that trust, consistency, and proper communication help build a strong bond with your pet.
The Grooming Profession and Career Development
This track is designed for those who want to become groomers or are already working in the profession. We explain where to start your training, what skills a professional needs, how to choose tools, work with different coat types, and find the right approach for each animal.
We also cover practical experience, mentorship, professional development, new techniques, and changes in the industry. After all, a true professional continues to learn throughout their entire career.
Not Just Cats and Dogs
The stars of our blog also include rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, parrots, other birds, fish, turtles, hedgehogs, insects, and exotic animals.
We introduce readers to the specifics of their care, behavior, nutrition, and grooming, because every animal needs responsible treatment and proper conditions.
Interesting facts, events, and content for the whole family
We also publish light, educational content. We collect interesting facts and stories about animals, and keep up with grooming news, trends, innovations, and important events.
All these topics share a common goal—to help people better understand animals and care for them with love, knowledge, and respect.

Academy, photo gallery, and over 600 videos
Our magazine features a separate section dedicated to the V.O.G DOG ACADEMY, groomer training, and professional development in this field.
Here, we cover the Academy’s daily life, training programs, student internships, and the journey of future groomers from their first classes to confidently working with our furry friends. We share professional tips, useful advice, secrets of the trade, and insights that help groomers refine their techniques, better understand animals, and grow in their profession.
Another special feature of our magazine is a large photo gallery of well-groomed pets from our salons. It features photos of our small and large guests after their grooming sessions: neat, beautiful, happy, and incredibly diverse. This is a true story of our groomers’ work, told through the images of our beloved pets.
The magazine also features a separate video section, which already includes over 600 short clips from V.O.G DOG salons. Here you can see dramatic transformations in “before and after” format, the results of grooming, and countless charming moments featuring our guests.
Through articles, photos, and videos, V.O.G DOG magazine not only provides useful information but also offers a glimpse into the world of professional grooming, a look at the groomers’ work, and an opportunity to meet the furry friends for whom we do what we do every day.
How Each Article Is Created
Behind the number 1,000 lies a tremendous amount of daily work. Each article begins with selecting a topic that can truly be useful to pet owners, groomers, or future professionals.
We research the information, draw on the practical experience of our groomers, clarify important details, organize the material, and strive to explain even complex topics in simple and understandable language. After an article is written, it undergoes review, editing, and formatting, and is supplemented with photos, videos, and other materials.
For us, it’s not the number of publications that matters. We want each one to answer a specific question, help solve a problem, warn against a mistake, or reveal something new to the reader about the animal world.
Given the quantity and variety of its content, V.O.G DOG JOURNAL can already be confidently called one of the largest specialized blogs about animals, pet care, and grooming in Ukraine. And when you consider the 1,000 articles, extensive photo gallery, and over 600 original videos showcasing the real results of our salons’ work, it’s quite possible that there are few resources of this scale even worldwide.
And we continue to create all of this on our own and at our own expense, making this knowledge accessible to everyone.

Thank you to everyone who is helping us write this story
A special thank you goes to our readers—those who find answers in our content, return to the blog, share articles with friends, learn alongside us, and strive every day to understand their furry friends even better.
You are the ones who give meaning to this great work. Every article you’ve read, every helpful tip you’ve put into practice, and every animal whose life has become more comfortable thanks to the right knowledge—these are our shared little victories.
We’re grateful to everyone who’s been with us on this journey—and even to those who just discovered our magazine today. Welcome to our big family!

What the next thousand articles will be like depends on you, too
We’ve already covered a lot, but the animal world is so vast and diverse that there’s definitely no shortage of topics for the next thousand articles.
That’s why we want to hear from you. What would you be interested in reading about? What questions about your pet’s care, health, behavior, nutrition, training, or grooming are still unanswered? Which breed, procedure, or professional topic should we cover in our next article?
Send us your suggestions, questions, and ideas. The most interesting and relevant ones may become the topics of our future posts.
Perhaps your suggestion will be the starting point for an article that helps thousands of other pet owners.
For us, our 1,000th article isn’t a milestone or the end of the road. It’s a new starting point.
We’ll continue to write, educate, inspire, and work together to create a world where every furry friend is better understood, sincerely loved, and cared for.
